Graeme, who joined HTB in 2015, will now have responsibility for customer experience and business development. He will support existing lenders, delivering practical solutions during the property development process. The London based Relationship Managers will now report into Graeme whilst the Northern based lending team will continue reporting into Neil Leitch, as head of that region.
Graeme has nearly 40 years’ industry experience and proven success in working with small builders and developers to help achieve their growth ambitions, as well as detailed knowledge of every aspect of the property development process. In addition to spending over five years within the Wealth Credit team at Barclays, Graeme held the position of Director of Structured Property Finance at Heritable Bank for just under ten years, where he worked closely with small developers as a finance partner – helping them achieve access to finance and supporting them throughout their development.
David Alcock, Managing Director, Development Finance, said:
It is the interest of any business, especially those requiring expert knowledge and the ability to forge close relationships with existing and new clients, to promote talent from within. I am, therefore, absolutely thrilled that Graeme has accepted the role of Head of Lending.
“He has helped spearhead our growth over the course of the last 4 years and I am confident that he will continue to play an integral part in our ambitious growth plans.”
Graeme added:
HTB and its Development Finance division is a market leader. I look forward to taking up my new role, working with some of best Relationship Managers in the industry.
