So, what do we mean by this and how can this help introducers better support their customers?
From our perspective, hi-tech and hi-touch must go hand in hand. Not only are we focused on investing in technology to streamline our processes and procedures, at the same time we are investing in our people to ensure they have the knowledge and expertise our introducers need.
We are working to continually improve and enhance our web portal, with another new service in the pipeline for release this month. Our web portal make us easier to work with, helping to ensure our brokers have more time to spend on growing their businesses.
However, we recognise that great customer service requires more than just digital solutions, you also need to employ people with specialist expertise that truly understand the issues that brokers face and can work to fix them.
At Hampshire Trust Bank, we pride ourselves on not only hiring Asset Finance specialists but also developing talent. I spoke at the Leasing Foundation’s latest Young Business Finance Professionals event as developing young talent is a subject close to my heart and we are committed to future proofing our team, ensuring we have the right talent now and in the future. All of our employees will be taking part in Asset Finance foundation training over the next couple of months.
We are constantly enhancing and improving our hi-tech, hi-touch approach and are always keen to hear from our brokers on ways we can work better together.
